Second Entry for Kelopuro

Level 11 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Sami Kelopuro was all-in with the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} and Timothy Nuter looked him up with the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Nuter made the flush. Kelopuro used the "haha" emoji and then re-entered into the same seat by using the "hello" emoji. Friendly guys, these Finnish poker players.

Recent Eliminations

Level 10 : 1,400/2,800, 350 ante

The field has been cut down to the final 51 players as five bullets went down in flames.

Julian Stuer was left with crumbs when he called the jam by Ami Barer with {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. He faced the {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} of Barer and found no help on the {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades} board. It was all over in the very next hand for Stuer.

Timothy Nuter busted for a second time and then Darren Elias sent his short stack over to Joni Jouhkimainen.

Elias had the {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and it was no good, as Jouhkimainen's {k-Spades}{10-Spades} turned the nut flush on the {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} board.

Nolet on a Heater

Level 10 : 1,400/2,800, 350 ante

Guillaume Nolet called three barrels by Alex Foxen on a board of {9-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} with the final bet worth 65,632. Foxen tabled the {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} but Nolet had the superior hand in {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

Two hands later, Adrian Mateos three-bet jammed a short stack with the {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and Nolet made the call as three-bettor with the {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

The board came {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and Mateos was gone for now.

Ponakovs Busts Stevens Again

Level 10 : 1,400/2,800, 350 ante
Ponakovs vs Stevens
Ponakovs vs Stevens

The first bullet of Bert Stevens ended with a cold four-bet jam on a shorter stack against Aleksejs Ponakovs.

The second bullet of Stevens ended ... with a cold four-bet jam on a shorter stack against Ponakovs.

Down to 35,056, Stevens rips it in from the small blind and three-bettor Ponakovs calls in the cutoff.

Bert Stevens: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Aleksejs Ponakovs: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{q-Hearts}{9-Spades} and that spelled the end for the online grinder once more.

Rush of Eliminations in Quick Succession

Level 10 : 1,400/2,800, 350 ante
Volkmann vs Malinov
Volkmann vs Malinov

Two tables closed and opened as the field went through some balancing due to eliminations and entries moments later.

Among those to bust were Arsenii Malinov and Jason Koon, Wiktor Malinowski also hit the rail but re-entered.

Malinov lost a flip with {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} against the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} of Bruno Volkmann, as he found no help on the {j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades}{j-Diamonds} board.

Koon also had a flip with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} against David Yan's {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} and found no heart or overcards on the {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} board.

Vousden Doubles Through Watson

Level 9 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Mike Watson entered recently and raised to 5,400. He was called by Samuel Vousden in the cutoff and they checked the {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop. Watson bet the {4-Hearts} turn for 13,575 and Vousden made the call.

Watson bet the {a-Diamonds} river for 57,600 and Vousden called all-in for fewer than that with {k-Hearts}{j-Spades} for the nuts, as Watson suffered a major setback with the {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} right out of the gate.

Zhang Busts Martynenko

Level 9 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Martynenko vs Zhang
Martynenko vs Zhang

Vlad Martynenko raised it up to 4,800 in the cutoff and found resistance. "Great Pretender" called out of the small blind and Chi Zhang squeezed to 19,200 in the big blind. Martynenko stuck his 69,616 in and Zhang called.

Vlad Martynenko: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Chi Zhang: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

There was no hope for the dominated pocket pair as the board ran out {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

Petrangelo Hits the Rail

Level 9 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Petrangelo vs whatariver1
Petrangelo vs whatariver1

A short-stacked Nick Petrangelo put his hopes on {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} out of the big blind and Irish player "whatariver1" called on the button with the {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. The mighty ducks held up on a {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} board and Petrangelo will likely be back soon.
