Addamo Eliminated by Ponakovs

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante
Addamo vs Ponakovs
Addamo vs Ponakovs

Michael Addamo raised the button to 20,000 and Aleksejs Ponakovs defended the big blind. On a flop of {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, Ponakovs check-called for 10,000 and did so again for 50,313 on the {7-Spades} turn.

Ponakovs then check-called the {3-Clubs} river when Addamo jammed for 202,551.

The Aussie was caught with the {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Ponakovs earned the knockout with {j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for trips jacks.

Five Players Down in a Minute

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick three-bet jammed {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} out of the small blind and Daniel Dvoress took the flip with {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}. The overcards made a superior pair on the {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} board and sent Chidwick to the rail.

Shawn Daniels then departed from the very same table and Timothy Adams jammed the button to get called by Jason Koon in the blink of an eye.

Timothy Adams: {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Jason Koon: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts} board gave Koon aces and fours.

Last but not least, Ole Schemion {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} into Laurynas Levinskas. The Lithuanian called with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and made the nut flush for good measure on the {10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} board.

Elias Felted by Watson

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Fedor Holz min-raised from under the gun but then got out of the way when Mike Watson stuck around and Darren Elias jammed out of the big blind. Watson made the call and they were off to the races.

Darren Elias: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Mike Watson: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The overcards hit the {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs} turn and the {7-Clubs} river brought no help to Elias.

Koon Busts Petrangelo

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo was the first casualty after the break and he was the victim of a two-outer by Jason Koon.

Petrangelo had doubled after his entry and was then at risk with the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} to see Koon turn over the {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

The dominated pair flopped a set on {8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Petrangelo found no help on the {3-Clubs} turn and {a-Diamonds} river.

No spin-up happened for Dan Smith, who was knocked out moments later.

Nolet vs Burns

In a min-raised pot three ways to the {7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop, Guillaume Nolet check-raised to 63,700 and Kahle Burns called, Shankar Pillai also filled up.

The {2-Hearts} turn was checked to Burns and he bet 49,000. Nolet jammed for 160,081 and Burns called for 83,010.

Kahle Burns: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Guillaume Nolet: {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

The {5-Hearts} river spelled the end for Burns just before the break.
