Chidwick Takes From Botteon

In a min-raised three-way pot, Stephen Chidwick bet the {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop for 1,125 and Brunno Botteon raised to 5,040. Chidwick made the call and Botteon check-called the {8-Spades} turn for 3,645.

Botteon then used a portion of his time bank on the {j-Spades} river before making it 13,453 to go. Chidwick called with {a-Spades}{2-Spades} and Botteon's {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} was no good.

Holz Hits the River Against Peters

In a three-bet pot for 6,960 each, David Peters continued for 3,780 out of the small blind on the {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop and was called by the initial raiser Fedor Holz. Peters also bet the {8-Spades} turn for 5,670 to earn a reluctant call by Holz and checked the {10-Clubs} river.

Holz's bet of 27,000 was eventually called as he dragged in the pot with {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} versus {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}.

Malinowski Can't Shake Off Martynenko

In a long hand just before the blinds went up, Wiktor Malinowski raised to 1,250 on the button and called a three-bet to 7,000 by Vlad Martynenko in the small blind. Martynenko continued for 5,243 on the {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop to earn a call. He then slowed down and checked the {5-Clubs} turn.

Malinowski fired a bet of 12,733 and Martynenko came along to the {8-Spades} river. Another check led to Malinowski's bet worth 35,653 into a pot of 50,932 and Martynenko depleted a decent portion of his time bank before making the call.

Malinowski turned over {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Martynenko won the pot with the {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

Ponakovs Chips Back Up

David Coleman raised to 1250 and Aleksejs Ponakovs made it 5,500 out of the small blind, which Coleman called. They checked the {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop and Ponakovs led the {q-Hearts} turn for 7,735, Coleman tossed in calling chips.

On the {4-Diamonds} river, Ponakovs' bet worth 11,475 was paid off and he won the pot with {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} versus {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}.

Nolet Chips Up Against Foxen

Guillaume Nolet raised to 1,350 in the cutoff and then called a three-bet to 4,200 by Alex Foxen on the button.

Nolet check-called a first barrel by Foxen worth 2,297 on the {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop and did so again for 10,873 on the {j-Diamonds} turn. They checked the {q-Hearts} river and Nolet had the nuts with {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, Foxen's {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for the top pair was no good.

Stuer Rivers Superior Pair Against Holz

Fedor Holz opened to 1,050 from under the gun and was called by Julian Stuer in the cutoff and Mario Mosboeck in the big blind. Only Holz check-called the 1,261 of Stuer on the {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop and did so again for 4,757 on the {10-Hearts} turn.

The {a-Clubs} river was checked by both and Holz tabled {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}, which Stuer had beat with the {a-Spades}{8-Spades}.

Pillai Catches Chidwick Bluffing

Stephen Chidwick made it 1,500 to go on the button and was called by Shankar Pillai out of the big blind. Pillai ended up check-calling three barrels for 4,404 on the {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop, 10,733 on the {k-Hearts} turn and 27,156 on the {6-Diamonds} river.

Chidwick turned over {q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for queen-high and Pillai pulled in the pot with {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a pair of jacks.
