Juan Pardo four-bet to 17,600 and was called by three-bettor Vlad Martynenko to check the {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop. Martynenko bet 12,985 on the button and earned a call to then make it 15,768 to go on the {7-Hearts} turn. Pardo check-called once more and checked the {2-Spades} river.

Martynenko bet 66,225 and Pardo tank-called for the last 49,817. The Spaniard held {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} but they were no good against the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} of Martynenko.

Coleman Loses Further Ground

Mosboeck folded and Zelentsov called to see a {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} flop. Coleman made it 7,695 to go and earned a call to then check down the {5-Spades} turn and {2-Diamonds} river.

Coleman tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and Zelentsov won the pot with {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

Ponakovs Has the Superior Kicker

Level 3 : 400/800, 100 ante

In three-way action to the {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop, Bert Stevens in the small blind check-raised to 8,538 and Aleksejs Ponakovs called while Stephen Chidwick folded.

Stevens led the {6-Clubs} turn for 18,327 into 24,436 and earned a call to then check down the {6-Diamonds} river, as die Ponakovs. Stevens had missed with {a-Spades}{5-Spades} and Ponakovs won by kicker with the {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Botteon Bounces Back

"Great Pretender" raised to 2,000 in the hijack and was called by Brunno Botteon on the button. Both checked the {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop and "Great Pretender" then check-called the {q-Hearts} turn for 1,829 and the {k-Hearts} river for 2,963. Botteon had the best of it with {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} for a straight, his opponent from Canada revealed {q-Clubs}{10-Spades} for two pair.

Badziakouski Chips Up Without Showdown

Mikita Badziakouski's raise to 1,839 in the hijack was three-bet to 7,200 by Yuri Dzivielevski and Badziakouski came along to the {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop. He check-called for 5,379 and checked again the {6-Hearts} turn, which prompted a second barrel worth 20,294 by Dzivielevski.

Badziakouski then raised to 44,188 and that won the pot right there.

Kempe Takes From Andersson

Right before the blinds went up, Rainer Kempe limp-called a raise to 1,950 by Joakim Andersson in a battle of the blinds. Andersson bet the {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop for 2,250 and Kempe check-raised to 6,750, which resulted in a call.

Kempe then led the {4-Spades} turn for 13,500 and the {4-Hearts} river for 14,850. Andersson paid off both bets with {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} but Kempe had the best of it with {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.
