Queens Good for Lache

Level 3 : 400/800, 100 ante

A player opened from early position before Vlad-Stefan "HaiFanFan" Lache three-bet to 6,000 from the hijack. Ian "potamophobia" Matakis four-bet to 17,600 from the cutoff. The original raiser folded and Lache called.

Lache check-called a bet of 6,000 after the {6-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} landed on the flop before he check-called a bet of 16,800 after the {3-Clubs} landed on the turn.

Both players checked the {2-Diamonds} river and Matakis with {k-Spades}{q-Spades} was outmatched at showdown against Leche's {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

River Jam by Martirosian

Level 3 : 400/800, 100 ante

Artur Martirosian is already on his second bullet but so far so good on his second chance.

In a recently hand, Dinesh "NastyMinder" Alt opened to 1,760 from under the gun. Martirosian called from middle position before Markku "ExVang" Koplimaa made it 10,240 from the big blind.

Both Alt and Martirosian called and the {2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} were dealt on the flop. Koplimaa used a little of his time bank before he bet 10,534. Alt folded and Martirosian called.

Koplimaa used a small amount of his time bank again after the {j-Hearts} came on the turn. He eventually bet 17,887 and got a call.

The {9-Clubs} completed the board on the river and Koplimaa checked. Martirosian jammed for 61,139 and Koplimaa used most of his time bank before he gave up on the hand.

HIggins Out on a Cooler

Level 2 : 300/600, 75 ante

Simon Higgins' recharged chip stack didn't last long as a few hands later all of those chips went over to Rodrigo Selouan.

Higgins opened for 1,260 from early position before he called a three-bet to 4,500 by Selouan from the cutoff.

Higgins check-called a bet of 3,465 after the {q-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} came on the flop. He then check-called a bet of 13,373 after the {5-Clubs} followed on the turn.

The {6-Hearts} completed the board on the river and Higgins jammed for 56,664. Selouan called.

Higgins turned over {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for a set of ladies but lost all of his chips after Selouan turned over {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a straight.

Koplimaa Doubles Higgins

Level 2 : 300/600, 75 ante

Simon Higgins was down to below half a starting stack but now is closer to where he started after he doubled off Markku "ExVang" Koplimaa.

The hand began with Koplimaa opening for 1,380 from under the gun and Higgins calling from the hijack.

Koplimaa check-called a bet of 2,816 after the {7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{j-Hearts} came on the flop. Koplimaa led out for 7,825 after the {5-Clubs} turn put three clubs on the board and Higgins called.

Koplimaa then jammed enough to cover the 26,305 left in Higgins stack after the {8-Hearts} completed the board on the river and got bad news after Higgins called.

Higgins turned over {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the nut-flush and doubled-up against Koplimaa's {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

Wigg Gets Picked Off

Level 2 : 300/600, 75 ante

Anton Wigg opened to 1,620 from the cutoff and was called by "poker996728348" on the button and Aliaksei Boika in the big blind.

Wigg turned over {9-Spades}{7-Spades} for missed flush and open-ended straight draws and the pot went over to "poker996728348" after they showed {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}.
