Martynenko Doubles Off Martirosian to Take the Lead

Level 14 : 2,250/4,500, 550 ante

Vlad Martynenko opened to 9,000 from under the gun. Artur Martirosian three-bet to 27,000 from the hijack and Martynenko called.

The {5-Clubs} paired the board on the river and Martynenko checked again. Martirosian bet enough to cover the 232,897 Marynenko had behind and got a call.

Martirosian turned over {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and doubled-up Martynenko to give him the chip leader after he turned over {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

Vlad-Stefan "HaiFanFan" Lache: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Both players had two pair but Alt was drawing to just two outs for one of the remaining fives. Alt hit the rail after failing to hit a miracle with the {8-Hearts} completing the board on the river and didn't immediately re-enter after the hand.
