Mercier Busts Liu in Sixth Place
Xuan Liu is the first one to be eliminated from this heat. Liu was left with 10,500 in chips and had to post the 1,600 big blind. The action was folded to Jason Mercier in the small blind and he put Liu all-in. The Montreal Nationals player made the call and she was at risk.

Liu was ahead, but it was close and the 
flop gave Mercier the better hand. The 
turn wasn't much of a help to Liu and neither was the 
river.
Liu left the tournament without scoring any points for her team, but the Nationals will remain on the top of the table of the Americas League.
