Bessa and Amar Hit the Rail

Golubev Ousts Two with Aces

Andrey Golubev opened to 27,000 from early position before Serdar Demircan jammed for 250,000. Maxim Kotenok four-bet jammed for close to 500,000 and Golubev called them both.

Serdar Demircan: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Maxim Kotenok: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Andrey Golubev: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

It wasn't looking good for either Demircan or Kotenok to stay alive but they had a glimmer of hope after the {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} gave them both a gutshot broadway straight draw.

The {5-Diamonds} came on the turn followed by the {8-Clubs} on the river and Golubev sent both of his opponents to the rail.

Eliminated around the same time at other tables were Enrique Garcia De Blas and Jose Luic Garcia Devesa.

Gaja First Player Eliminated

Miquel Riera Gaja was the first player eliminated on Day 2. Shortly after, Alf Martinsson was eliminated as well.

Big Early Pot for Berinov

Andrei Berinov bet 120,000 with the {2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{7-Spades} on the board with already a scattering of chips in the pot. Nir Amar raised to 300,000 and Berinov called.

Amar checked after the {4-Hearts} came on the river and Berinov jammed. Amar asked for a chip count and it was around 625,000 in chips. He tanked for about five minutes before he opted to fold.
