Enriquez Ousts Rodriguez

Level 21 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Norberto Lopez Rodriguez three-bet jammed for about 450,000 with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and was called by Kim Enriquez with {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

It looked like Rodriguez would double after he paired the {9-Spades}{10-Spades}{k-Clubs} flop. But the {j-Clubs} came on the turn to give his opponent a set.

The {a-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and Rodriguez was eliminated.

Also recently eliminated were Ali Hassan and Patricia Figueira.

No More Americans

Level 21 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Joseph Bray has been eliminated in the Main Event, meaning there are no more players from the United States remaining.

He had about 30 big blinds in his stack when he got them into the pot with {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} and was up against the {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} held by Ioannis Chorianopoulos.

The {k-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} ran out on the board and Chorianopoulos was up to around 7 million in chips after the hand.

Mounim Kaddouri also hit the rail around the same time.

Quads on the Board

Level 20 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Ali Hassan opened the button for 70,000 and Patrick Beuter called. Beuter check-jammed the {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop from 50,000 to 320,000 and Hassan called.

Patrick Beuter: {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Ali Hassan: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Ali was ahead and had a flush draw, while Beuter had an open-ended straight draw. The {8-Clubs} came on the turn followed by the {8-Hearts} on the river to put quads on the board. Hassan had the ace-kicker and Beuter was eliminated.

Also recently ousted were David Algarra and Marius Brinceanu.
