Welcome to Day 2 of the Golden Poker Million Main Event
Welcome to Day 2 of the Golden Million Main Event featuring a mouth-watering €1 million guaranteed prize pool at Noah's Ark Deluxe Hotel and Spa. The festival has attracted players from all around the globe including Europe, Asia, North America, and South America.
Day 1f is still playing out but it looks like Day 1d chip leader Alexandros Erotokritou will head into Day 2 with the chip lead with a 3,010,000.
A total of 92 players advanced from the first five opening flights with a couple dozen more joining them from the Day 1f flight. Players are already in the money and payouts will be announced near the start of the day.
The seat draw will be made available later as the tournament organizers are waiting for the completion of the final opening flight.
The structure becomes deeper on Day 2 with blinds increasing every hour instead of the 45-minute blind levels featured on the opening days. The first blind level will be 8,000/16,000 with a big blind ante of 16,000 and tournament organizers will announce at the start of the day how many blind levels will be played.

Cards are scheduled to be in the air for Day 2 of the Golden Million Cyprus Main Event starting at approximately 6 p.m. EET, although it could be a little later as Day 1f will need to play down to 10 percent of the field before players can take their seats.
Start Time Delayed Until at Least 8 p.m.
Day 1f is still ongoing with 113 players remaining. Tournament Director Gerard Serra informed PokerNews that Day 2 won't begin until at 8 p.m. EET if not a bit later.
Number of Blind Levels to be Announced After Play Begins
Day 2 likely won't begin for at least an hour at which point Tournament Director Gerard Serra will announce how many blind levels will be played today. However, players won't have to worry about it ending later than expected, there will just be less blind levels played today.
"Today will end at 4:30 a.m., 5 a.m. the latest no matter when it begins," said Serra. "We may also push back the Day 3 start time from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday."
Looking Like 9 p.m.
There are still 29 players remaining in the Turbo Day 1f flight. The flight will end with 26 players remaining.
After that, it will take a little time for the seat draw to take place and for players to take their seats. So it is looking most likely that Day 2 will begin around 9 p.m. EET.
9:30 p.m. Start
Day 1f has just ended. Day 2 should start around 9:30 p.m.
Play Begins Soon
Players are now taking their seats. It will likely be another five to ten minutes before the Day 2 action begins.
Payouts to Be Announced Soon
Payouts will be announced shortly after the action resumes. What we do know is that 96th to 120th places will pay €1,650.
Cards in the Air
Cards are in the air on Day 2. Blinds will be 6,000/12,000 with a big blind ante of 12,000 to start the day.
Big Early Pot for Berinov
Andrei Berinov bet 120,000 with the 
on the board with already a scattering of chips in the pot. Nir Amar raised to 300,000 and Berinov called.
Amar checked after the 
came on the river and Berinov jammed. Amar asked for a chip count and it was around 625,000 in chips. He tanked for about five minutes before he opted to fold.
