Raffoul Loses a Flip

Level 22 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Edgard Raffoul didn't enter today with a big stack and now he has no stack. He jammed for about 12 big blinds with {7-}{7-} and was called by an opponent with {a-}{10-}.

The {5-}{2-}{3-} flop kept Raffoul ahead. Raffoul appeared to be in better shape after nailing a set once the {7-} came on the turn.

However, luck wasn't on Raffoul's side as the {4-} spiked the river to give his opponent a straight and Raffoul headed to the rail in 44th place.

Bilonozhko Rockets His Chip Count with Rockets

Level 22 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Pavlo Bilonozhko opened for 115,000 from the button. Jose Gomez Romero three-bet from the big blind to 475,000. Vilonozhko used a time bank card and was down to one second on the timer before he four-bet to 1,175,000.

Romero opted to call and the {5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} came on the flop. Romero checked-called a bet from his opponent of 650,000 with about the same stack behind.

The {9-Spades} paired the board on the turn and Bilonozhko jammed for a few chips more than covering his opponent's remaining stack. Romero snap-called and got the bad news.

Pavlo Bilonozhko: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Jose Gomez Romero: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Romero still had some outs but none of them came with the {4-Diamonds} completing the board on the river.

A few seconds later, David Higuera followed Romero to the rail at a different table.

Zamorano in the Chip Lead after Eliminating Yilmaz

Level 22 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Two Nuri's were the first two players eliminated on Day 3. Antonio Saez Zamorano opened to 105,000 from early positon. Nuri Yilmaz used a time-bank card before he three-bet jammed for about 1.5 million. The action folded back to Zamorano who made the snap-call.

Nuri Yilmaz: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Antonio Saez Zamorano: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The {5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs} ran out on the board and Yilmaz hit the rail. Meanwhile, Antonio Saez Zamorano became the tournament's chip leader after the hand.

Shortly after, Carlos Baena and Murat Cakir were eliminated at other tables.
