The players have been introduced and the cards are in the air here at the GDAM "unofficial " final table. The blinds are now at 500,000-1,000,000 and so the short stack only has a little over five big blinds, while the chip leaders have around 20 big blinds.
The next player eliminated will go home empty handed as we are now on a massive HK$6,000,000 bubble (US$774,193).
The nine players are on a short break. The "unofficial" final table will begin in around five minutes. The players will then work to eliminate one player, which will burst the bubble, and then we will be at the official final table and will call it a night.
The players here at the main table have recently slowed down for a few moments and watched the live feed of the feature table. What they witnessed was Nick Wong all in holding and being at-risk against the of Jeff Rossiter. The board ran out and Wong was eliminated two spots off the money in 10th place.
The remaining nine players are moving to the live streaming feature table. We will have the unofficial final table seating draw posted as soon as possible.
The current level has been extended 15 minutes to ensure fairness here one off the unofficial final table and one off the bubble. There hasn't been too much action lately, but with most decisions being pretty much for all the chips, the players have been taking their time before either three-betting or folding to a three-bet.
Niklas Heinecker and Sorel Mizzi have just taken to a rare flop here at the main table. The hand started when the action folded around to Heinecker in the small blind. He raised it up to 1.4 million and Mizzi thought for a while before calling.
On the flop, Heinecker led for 1,250,000 and eventually Mizzi folded.
The only other bit of action we recently saw was when Anson Tsang jammed all in preflop. No player gave him any action and he raked in the blinds and antes.
Igor Kurganov has just managed a quick double up through Sorel Mizzi, who was the player who left him crippled in the first place. The chips were once again in preflop, with Kurganov holding against Mizzi's .
"The bottom of our ranges," joked Mizzi.
The dealer tabled a board, with no scare cards for Kurganov meaning he had doubled up.
Anthony Gregg has just been eliminated in 11th place, receiving a whole lot of nothing for his grind. Gregg's last chips went to Sorel Mizzi. All the chips went in preflop, with Mizzi holding against Gregg's . The board ran out and just like that we were down to 10 players. Mizzi is now creeping up the chip leader board.
