Day 2 of the Grosvenor United Kingdom Poker Tour GUKPT £1,000 Main Event starts today. A field of 97 hopefuls return to try and negotiate their stack down to the final table and give themselves a shot at the title of GUKPT champion.

The action continues in Day 2 from 12:00 p.m, local time, with another 10 levels each 60-minute long to be played, or playing to a final table (whichever comes first). Players can expect the same structure as they have experienced in Day 1a and 1b, with 15-minute breaks after every two levels and a 60-minute break after the forth level of the day. Level 11 will be where they start, with blinds at 600/1200 with a 1200 big blind ante.

Of the 355 entrants, 24 made it from day 1a, 58 from day 1b and 15 from 1c. Among the chip leaders are Vikrum Mehta, Jacque Ramsden (183,800) and Christopher Brammer (146,300).
