Day 1bc Started
A hectic day is in store at the Victoria Casino poker room in London as we get ready for two more flights of the GUKPT London Main event.
The £1,250 buy-in event has already seen 49 players advance from a field of 185, led by Renee Xie. Today Day 1b kicks off at midday with ten 60-minute levels scheduled, before the Turbo Day 1c with 20-minute levels starts at 9pm local time.
The fields will then combine for Saturday's Day 2. Those who survive Day 2 will then come back on Sunday, February 5 for the event's final day.
Players are permitted three re-entries in that time. Late registration closes on Day 2 at 12:50 p.m. GMT. Players will also receive a starting stack of 20,000 with blinds starting at 100/100.
Players who failed to make Day 2 yesterday included Euan McNicholas, Antoine Labat, Julien Sitbon, Victoria Coren-Mitchell, Niall Farrell, Katie Swift, Jamie Nixon and Sam Grafton, all of which could return to try again today.
