Jeremy Detamore has been in the middle of the pack for most of the day. Recently, he's gone on a bit of a run which may have peaked when he took the chip lead and a massive chunk of Eli Stepanovich's stack.
Stepanovich has been among the leader throughout the day and could chalk up the massive pot to just a cooler.

Detamore is poised to finish atop Day 1a, while Stepanovich might have to do some work to guarantee his spot.
Of the 28 players that went to break, only 22 remain. Six players have been eliminated in the first half of level 13. If this is an indication of the next level, the chips are going to fly as players jockey for Day 2 position.
Nicole Miller had successfully navigated her short stack for the last two levels or so, but on this hand she got it in ahead against Charlie Wilmoth. Wilmoth had her covered by a health amount and called with against the of Miller.
