Joe Ebanks has entered the HPO Columbus Regional Main Event. The WSOP-bracelet winner has over $3-million in lifetime earnings. He is currently fourth on the Ohio money list and has four cashes this year. His most recent cash was less than a month ago, where he finished seventh in a six-max event at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown for $5,023.
Randy Clinger has knocked out two players so far. Just about halfway through level two, Clinger has already sent former HPO Champion Charles Maxcy to the rail, as well as another player and almost tripled his starting stack.
Ryan Kalb just took down a pot on the river when he bet 5,600 and his opponent folded.
Three players saw the flop come and the action checked to the player on the button. He bet 1,100 and Kalb was the lone caller.
The turn was the and Kalb checked again. This time, when his opponent bet 1,300, Kalb check-raised, making it 3,500 to go. His opponent called the raise.
One the hit the river, Kalb bet 5,600 and his opponent folded.
Chris Moneymaker has taken his seat. The former World Champion and Current HPO Ambassador will be looking to improve on his run at HPO St. Louis where he finished near the money bubble.
Last night, Moneymaker cashed in an HPO Survivor side event and is in the field early today, just at the start of level two.
