Defending HPO Toledo Champion, Charles Maxcy made a deep run in Day 1a, but came up short when he ran pocket tens into the 
of HPO Ambassador Chris Moneymaker.
Maxcy is in the field today and hoping to put the past behind him. Maxcy was very active yesterday, and a little unpredictable.
On one hand, he bet the river in a three-way pot with one player all in. Nicholas Guagenti folded and left Maxcy heads up with the all in player.
Maxcy said he thought he had trips, but instead showed nine high, which was just barely good enough to eliminate his opponent who had eight high. Maxcy's style definitely incites action, so it should be fun to see what he gets up to today.
