Childs and Landreth Exit

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante
John Landreth
John Landreth

Barry Schultz has just eliminated John Landreth and Lee Childs in the same orbit, chipping up to nearly 50,000.

Landreth exited when he opened preflop with {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and Schultz just called. The flop brought a queen and two clubs, and the two got all of the money in on a non-club turn. The river was a brick as well, and Landreth was eliminated.

Childs exited holding two queens, getting it on post flop when Schultz flopped a set of nines. Childs failed to hit a two-outer and hit the rail, and quickly reentered.

Three Streets for Taylor

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Barry Schultz opened to 600 in early position, Jonathan Taylor called in the cutoff, and the rest of the players folded. The flop came down {k-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, Schultz checked, and Taylor tossed out another 600. Schultz called.

The turn was a third spade - the {2-Spades} - Schultz check-called another 1,100, and the {3-Diamonds} completed the board. Schultz check-called one last bet of 4,200, then mucked when Taylor showed {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for the nut-flush.

Fletcher's hand held up as the board ran out {6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Spades}, and Head was eliminated.

All In and Chop

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

John Landreth moved all in over Lee Childs on a board of {4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Spades}.

"How much is it?" Childs bemoaned after putting in 3,000.

Landreth was all in for an additional 4,875, and Childs opted to make the call.

Landreth: {3-Clubs}{2-Spades}
Childs: {4-Spades}{3-Spades}

Landreth had the wheel, but Childs could make the best hand with a spade or a six on the river. The two would chop of the river was a non-spade deuce.

The river was indeed a non-spade deuce - the {2-Hearts} - and the two chopped the pot with an identical wheel.

Hart and Commitment

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Lee Childs opened to 350 in early position, Jonathan hart made the call in the cutoff, and the button and blinds folded. The flop came down {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, Childs continued for 625, and Hart tank-called.

The two checked on the turn ({2-Spades}) and the river ({2-Clubs}), and Childs showed {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for king-high. Hart tabled {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a pair of eights, and raked in the pot.
