Kehrees Getting Shorter

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Mark Kehrees raised to 500 in the cutoff, Jason Mayfield called in the small blind, and both players checked on a flop of {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. The turn was the {5-Clubs}, Mayfield led out for 800, and Kehrees called.

Mayfield checked in the dark before the {7-Hearts} fell on the river, and Kehrees checked behind, showing {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Mayfield rolled over {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for a flush, and raked in the pot.

Hart Check-Jams the Turn

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Mark Kehrees opened to 800 on the button, Jonathan Hart put in a three-bet from the small blind, and Kehrees made the call. The flop fell {10-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}, Hart led out for 1,725, and Kehrees raised to 5,000 even. Hart called.

The turn was the {k-Clubs}, Hart checked again, and Kehrees bet 8,000. Hart moved all in for what looked like 14,750, and Kehrees tanked for two minutes or so before folding.

Childs Picks it Up Without Showdown

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

The turn was the {7-Spades}, both players checked, and the river brought a third spade - the {3-Spades}. Kizer checked, Childs plopped 2,300 in front of him, and Kizer folded.

A Very Slow Race

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Gene Fletcher limped in on the button, Barry Schultz raised to 800 out of the small blind, and Fletcher threw in a call.

Both players checked on a flop of {q-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and after the turn brought the {j-Hearts}, and the {7-Diamonds} completed the board. Schultz knuckled a third and final time, Fletcher fired out 600, and Schultz called.

Fletcher showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} for ace-high, but it was no good against Schultz's {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

Three-Bet Pot Between Moneymaker and Taylor

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Chris Moneymaker was second to act preflop, and opened to 525. Jonathan Taylor three-bet to 1,600 out of the small blind, Moneymaker called, and the flop fell {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. Taylor led out for 1,400, Moneymaker called, and the turn brought the {10-Spades}.

Taylor led out again - this time for 2,200 - and again Moneymaker called. A repeat jack ({j-Spades}) completed the board, and Taylor opened to check. Moneymaker knuckled behind, then mucked when Taylor tabled {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} for kings and jacks.

Moneymaker is still our leader with 51,000 chips, while Taylor chipped up to 43,000.
