Deane Eliminates Moon

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Chris Moon
Chris Moon

Chris Moon was all in preflop and found a caller in Taylor Deane.

Chris Moon: {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Taylor Deane: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

Deane was ahead but Moon held two overs and flopped a gutter ball with the {5-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop.

The turn brought the {k-Clubs} adding more outs to Moon's hand with the club draw.

Unfortunately, the river fell a brick with the {4-Hearts} and the reigning HPT Ameristar East Chicago Champions night came to an end.

Apter Eliminates Sabbia

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Michael Sabbia
Michael Sabbia

Chris Moon opened for 5,500 from the cutoff and Brett Apter moved all in from the small blind. Action was on Michael Sabbia who called for less from the big blind and Moon got out of the way.

Brett Apter: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Michael Sabbia: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Sabbia was behind and didn't receive any help from the {9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop.

The turn fell the {5-Hearts} and Sabbia needed an ace or queen to keep his tournament hopes alive.

Unfortunately the river double paired the board with the {2-Hearts} and he was eliminated.
