Last Break of the Night

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The final twenty players are off on their last fifteen-minute break of the evening. During this break, the 100 denomination chips will be raced off. When they return, they'll play three more forty-minute levels before bagging and tagging for the evening.

Double Doubles For Hight

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

After being crippled down to just 2,000 in chips, Chris Hight was all in for those remaining chips in the big blind, and was at risk agianst Nelson Bernal.

Chris Hight: {q-Spades}{3-Clubs}
Nelson Bernal: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

"Aw, I only got one over, that's running bad!" Hight said with a wry grin. He ran well enough when the {q-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts} flop gave him kings and queens, and he faded the two-outer on the {2-Hearts} turn and {a-Diamonds} river to double.

The very next hand, Hight jammed again from the small blind, and Sam Ho called dark in the big blind.

Chris Hight: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Sam Ho: {7-Hearts}{3-Spades}

It was Hight's turn to be ahead preflop, and he held on a {k-Spades}{4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} board to double once again.

Bishop Nearing 200k

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jay Bishop
Jay Bishop

James Hughes limped in from the hijack, and Jay Bishop raised to 10,000 on the button. Hughes thought for a bit, then tossed in eight 1k chips to make the call.

Hughes checked the {7-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop to Bishop, who said, "Same ten," as he tossed in 10,000. Hughes folded, and Bishop turned over {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

"Alright...three and two now," Bishop said, referencing his win-loss record with the hand.

Imarata Running It Up

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Joseph Imarata raised to 4,000 from early position, and was called by Elbert "Cincinnati" Campbell in the big blind.

Both players checked the {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop, and Campbell bet 5,000 on the {3-Spades} turn. Imarata called.

Both players checked again on the {4-Hearts} river, and Imarata tabled {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. "Good hand," Campbell told Imarata before mucking. Imarata, who had just 25,000 in chips at the start of Level 11, has since ran his stack up to near six-figures.

Bailey's River Bet Succeeds

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Sam Ho bet 3,000 from the small blind on a {j-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, and Jaron Bailey called in the big blind.

Ho continued for 3,000 more on the {7-Diamonds} turn, and Bailey stuck around with a call.

Ho checked once the {a-Spades} fell on the river, and Bailey tanked for a minute before betting 11,000. Ho didn't take long to release his hand, and Bailey took down the pot.

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

James Hughes raised to 4,500 from under the gun, and was called by Jay Bishop in middle position, as well as Charles Westbrook in the hijack.

Hughes bet 6,700 on the {q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop, and Bishop quickly folded. Westbrook tossed in a call, then jammed for 18,300 after Hughes checked the {7-Spades} turn.

"Good hand," Hughes said before turning his {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} faceup and mucking. Westbrook responded by showing Hughes the {q-Diamonds} before raking in the pot.
