McBrayer Loses a Flip to Hart

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

BJ McBrayer raised to 3,000 from early position, and Jackie Johnson called in middle position. James Hart three-bet shoved for 11,700 on the button, and McBrayer four-bet shoved for 70,000, chasing out Johnson.

James Hart: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
BJ McBrayer: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Hart found a set on the {k-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{10-Spades} flop, but McBrayer was still alive with a gutshot. The {4-Hearts} turn and {3-Diamonds} river bricked off, and Hart doubled up.

Harrison's Straight Cracks Jacks

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A pot of 75,000 was already built up between Corey Harrison and Elbert "Cincinnati" Campbell, and the {4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} board was already out on the felt. Harrison jammed his last 17,500 in the pot, and Campbell made a quick call.

Harrison turned over {8-}{6-} for a flopped straight, and Campbell groaned with disgust, flashing {j-}{j-} before tossing his hand into the muck and paying off Harrison.

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The remaining field is off on a one-hour dinner break. Registration for Day 1a of the HPT Ameristar Vicksburg $1,100 Main Event will come to a close at the conclusion of this break.

Ingles Rips It

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jared Ingles, who just last month made a deep run in the WSOP Main Event, ultimately finishing in 382nd place for $34,845, raised to 2,000 from early position, and was called by Elbert "Cincinnati" Campbell next to act. Corey Harrison three-bet to 7,500 from the button, and Ingles responded with a four-bet shove for 30,500. Campbell quickly folded, and Harrison thought for a few moments.

"Back to back," Harrison said, before turning over {j-}{j-} and sending his hand to the muck, and Ingles took down the pot without showing.
