Melodie Poncik was seen in a new seat after having registered during the dinner break. In a hand she just played, she opened to 3,600 from early position and received calls from players in middle position, on the hijack, and in the big blind.
The flop fell 
and the big blind checked to Poncik, who also checked. The player in middle position made it three straight checks before the hijack bet 6,000. The big blind folded and Poncik check-jammed for around 26,500. The player in middle position folded and the hijack did as well, resulting in Poncik taking down the pot and increasing her stack by over 50 percent.
