Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Nader Wahdan
Nader Wahdan

A player raised to 6,000 from under the gun and was three-bet by Nader Wahdan to 21,000. Action folded back around and the player called, taking action heads up to the flop {3-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Both players checked.

The turn {9-Diamonds} fell and the under-the-gun player checked to Wahdan, who chose to bet 16,000. His opponent folded and he took down the pot.

Since winning a big pot before the dinner break, Wahdan has now seen his stack grow by another 50 percent or so in the last three levels and he finds himself as one of the chip leaders in the tournament nearing the final break of the night.

Graham Hooked by Grajeda's Ladies

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

As time was expiring on the previous level, Ruth Graham raised to 4,000 from under the gun. A player in middle position called and Robert Grajeda called behind from the hijack.

Action went three ways to the flop {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Graham made a continuation-bet of 5,000. Both the player in middle position and Grajeda called, bringing the turn {8-Diamonds}. Grham fired a second barrel for 10,000 and the player in middle position folded. Grajeda called, bringing the river {5-Diamonds} and both players checked to showdown.

Graham showed {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks and Grajeda tabled {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} for a pair of aces, good to take down the pot.

Pedigo Makes Two Pair Versus Aces

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Ruth Graham opened from early position to 4,000 and received a call from Ryan Pedigo on her left before action folded around to the big blind, who defended. The three saw a flop of {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and action checked to Pedigo, who made a bet of 7,000. Both the big blind and Graham called.

The turn was {4-Clubs} and all three players checked. The river fell {k-Hearts} and the big blind checked to Graham, who put in a bet of 15,000. Pedigo called and the big blind folded.

Graham tabled {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} for a pair of aces and Pedigo turned over {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for flopped eights up and took down the pot.

Ingles Aces Blast Two

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Action was back on the player in the cutoff after having a bet of 12,600 out in front of him. Fireworks had flown since he had last committed a chip, with all-ins from the small blind (32,600), big blind (58,600), and a player in early position (27,000). After some thought, the cutoff folded and the dealer called for the three players left in the hand to turn up their cards.

Jared Ingles: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Small Blind: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}
Early Position: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out clean for Ingles, coming {3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for his aces to hold and secure the double knockout.

Gutfreund's Boat Sank By O'Toole's

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Dave Gutfreund
Dave Gutfreund

Dave Gutfreund communicated that Michael O'Toole had a hand history to share for a pot that had a lot of chips in it, saying it was too painful to recount himself.

According to O'Toole with a little help from tablemate Ryan Dodson, Gutfreund opened to 3,500 from the hijack and O'Toole called out of the small blind. The two saw a flop of {a-}{j-}{8-}-rainbow and O'Toole check-raised Gutfreund's continuation-bet. Gutfreund called.

On the turn {4-Diamonds}, O'Toole fired 19,000 into the middle and Gutfreund raised to 60,000. O'Toole shoved for around 140,000 with Gutfreund calling for around 120,000 effective.

Dave Gutfreund: {8-}{8-}
Michael O'Toole: {a-}{j-}

The two players found themselves in a huge pot between a flopped set versus top two pair. O'Toole had four outs to improve to a full house and hit the {a-} on the river to go Greenstein on Gutfreund and send him to the rail. Meanwhile, O'Toole finds himself at or near the top of the leaderboard with a stack that is closing in on 300,000.
