Tournament organizers had enough players enter in the last few minutes that they opened a new table without having to pull players from other tables. Ten-handed play is the standard until Day 2 on Sunday at the Golden Gates. Due to the limited space and keeping things the same for all players across the flights, organizers prefer to open new tables when they have enough players on hand.
The first three levels are in the books and the players are on their first break of the day.

Four players went to a raised flop of , Jason Mangold checked from the small blind and Will Hodges bet 6,000 from the big. Both players behind folded, Mangold called and the turn came .
Mangold took a few moments before checking, Hodges moved all in and Mangold heard it was 36,100 after he asked for a count.
"I flopped a pretty good flush," Mangold said. "But I don't think I can call." He sent his cards into the muck and Hodges took the pot without a word.
"I had ," Mangold said. "Seeing ace king would have killed me there."
