Brown Flirting With a Milly

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

We found this hand on the flop with significant action underway. The board was {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, a player checked, Tho Nguyen bet 125,000 and Stu Brown moved all in. A third player tank-folded and action passed to Nguyen. He went deep into the tank and Brown called the clock on Nguyen.

The floorman arrived, verbalized his final five second countdown and Nguyen slammed down calling chips with two seconds left. Brown tabled {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for a set and Nguyen was on a draw with {A-Spades}{K-Spades}.

The board finished {7-Hearts}{J-Hearts}, Nguyen bricked and Brown stacked nearly a million chips.

Nils Bardsley Eliminated on Bubble

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Hand-for-hand for play lasted for 13 rounds with two double ups in hands 11 and 12. But Nils Bardsley packed his backpack while the rest of the applauded for making the money.

Jack Peterson limped from the small blind, Nils Bardsley checked his option and the flop came {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Peterson check-called 15,000 and the turn came {K-Hearts}. Peterson checked, Bardsley bet 35,000 and Peterson check-raised to 100,000.

Bardsley moved all in with {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Peterson called holding {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. The river came {J-Hearts}, filling Peterson's flush and Bardsley's two pair was no good.
