Rotholz Spikes King on the Turn

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante

On a board that read {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds} Hal Rotholz was facing a bet of 7,300 from Seat 5. He considered his options for a few moments and then pushed all in for his remaining stack of roughly 20,000. Seat 5 immediately called.

A couple exclamations from around the table were heard as Rotholz turned over the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} only to see his opponent in Seat 5 reveal the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. What looked to be a classic aces over kings situation was turned on its head when the {k-Spades} hit the turn to launch Rotholz ahead.

The river was the {8-Hearts} to finalize the big pot for Rotholz and bust Seat 5.

The river came the {10-Clubs} and Neroni bet 2,000. The small blind called and Neroni showed {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a set and the small blind mucked.

In a three way pot, the flop read {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.Chris Moon bet 6,000 and was called by Roy Hanna and Donald Havener to build a hefty pot.

The turn was the {10-Spades}. Havener was first to act and checked. Moon moved all in for about 20,000 and was quickly called by Hanna. Havener got out of the way.

On a board of {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts}, the river was checked by both players and Scott Dehm turned over {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}. His aces held and it was good enough to take down a nice pot but more importantly he has a good chip advantage early.
