Dewindt Flips His Way to a Dub

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Brian Dewindt three-bet shoved for 12,700 from the small blind over an open from Tom Koral from under the gun, and Koral made the call to put Dewindt at risk.

Brian Dewindt: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Tom Koral: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Dewindt faded the {3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, and locked up the hand after the {j-Diamonds} turn gave him a set, rendering the {q-Hearts} river useless for Koral.

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante
David Becker
David Becker

Tom Koral raised to 1,200 from middle position, and Michael VanderWoude called from the hijack. David Becker three-bet shoved for 5,100 on the button, and Koral four-bet to 9,000, chasing out VanderWoude.

Tom Koral: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
David Becker: {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}

Becker's deuces couldn't hang on, as Koral spiked a king on the {9-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{7-Spades} runout to eliminate Becker.

Senie Sends Helstern Out

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Darryl Ronconi bet 5,100 from the small blind on a {j-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop, and Brian Senie raised to 25,000 in middle position. Jorden Helstern called off his last 13,000 in the hijack, and Ronconi folded what he later claimed to be a jack.

Jorden Helstern: {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Brian Senie: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

"I can beat that," Helstern said upon seeing Senie's top set.

"Not now," Helstern said after the {5-Spades} turn and {6-Diamonds} river left Senie with jacks-full and the winner.

Hummer Humming Along

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

A player raised to 1,200 from under the gun, and was called by Donald Carlton in the cutoff, as well as Daniel Hummer in the big blind.

Hummer checked the {q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{a-Spades} flop to the under-the-gun player, who bet 1,300. Both Carlton and Hummer called.

Action checked through the {7-Spades} turn, and the {2-Spades} fell on the river. Hummer bet 3,000 and only Carlton called.

Hummer showed {j-Spades}{8-Spades} for a flush, and Carlton mucked. Hummer quipped, "I did not like the river!" as he dragged in the pot.

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Jeffrey Orlowski
Jeffrey Orlowski

A flurry of action took place on a {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{a-Clubs} flop, and Jeffrey Orlowski found himself at risk for his last 27,900 in the small blind. The big blind had his last 15,000 in chips in the big blind, and a player in early position had both players at risk with a call.

Big Blind: {7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Jeffrey Orlowski: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Early Position: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Orlowski's set just needed to fade the straight draw of the big blind after the {10-Hearts} fell on the turn, and the {k-Diamonds} river shipped the big pot over to Orlowski.

The {5-Hearts} fell on the turn, and the small blind checked. Trezzo bet 3,000, and the small blind called.
