Banducci Pads His Lead

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

A player raised to 1,500 from middle position, and Michael Banducci called on the button. Mike Shanahan three-bet to 5,800 from the big blind, and only Banducci called.

Action checked to the river of a {9-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} board, and Shanahan checked again. Banducci bet 6,000, and Shanahan tanked for a minute.

"Do you ever bluff there?" Shanahan asked. He eventually threw in a call, and Banducci tabled {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a flush. Shanahan mucked.

Mendoza's Two Pair Good

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Jason Mendoza raised to 800 from early position, and was called by Darryl Ronconi in the hijack, as well as the cutoff and Michael Younan in the big blind.

Younan checked the {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop to Mendoza, who bet 2,500. Only Ronconi called.

Mendoza bet another 3,700 on the {3-Clubs} turn, and Ronconi called again.

Both players checked the {5-Diamonds} river, and Mendoza said, "Two pair," before tabling {j-Spades}{3-Spades}. Ronconi mucked, and Mendoza said, "The only card I didn't want to see on the river was a diamond," before pulling down the pot.

Orlowski Four-Bet Jams

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

A player limped in from early position, and Daniel Sepiol, who just arrived at the table, raised to 1,100 from the button. Jeffrey Orlowski called in the small blind, and the big blind three-bet to 4,700. Action folded back to Orlowski, who took his stack of 44,000 and pushed it in the middle.

The big blind, who had around 35,000 behind, shook his head before tossing his hand in the muck after just a moment's thought.

Shanahan Gets a Bluff Through

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante
Mike Shanahan
Mike Shanahan

Mike Shanahan and Darryl Ronconi had built a big pot of around 30,000 up, and the full {q-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} board was already on the felt. Shanahan announced, "All in," from early position, putting Ronconi to the test for his last 18,000 from the button.

Ronconi double-checked his hand and paused for a moment, before throwing his hand to the muck.

Shanahan flipped over {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for a bluff, and Ronconi said, "What'd he show?" Upon seeing that Shanahan held just ten-high, he nodded and said, "Nice bet."
