The Heartland Poker Tour’s third and final stop to the Golden Gates Casino and Poker Parlour for the 2019 calendar year reaches its culmination Thursday with the $1,650 Main Event.

Day 1a marks the first of three starting flights, which promises to bring another sizeable field up the mountain to Black Hawk, Colorado. Players such as Dapo Ajayi, Ben Keeline, Greg Geller, and Rich Dixon are a few players to have experienced success here over the years, They are just a few of the familiar faces likely to be seen vying to become the next HPT champion and looking to join the likes of recent winners such as Austin Peck, Nick Pupillo, and Wendy Freedman.

Cards will be in the air at noon local time for all three starting flights, from Thursday through Saturday. All who advance across the three days will return for Day 2 on Sunday to play down to Monday’s final table, which will be both live streamed and televised.

Players are set to receive 30,000 in starting chips for all Day 1s with blinds starting at 100/100. Levels will last 40 minutes each with play scheduled to continue until whichever comes first between the end of Level 15 (2,000/4,000/4,000) or until 13 percent of the field remains.

There will be 15-minute breaks at the completion of every three levels, with a 60-minute dinner break at the end of Level 9. Registration will remain open until the beginning of Level 10 at approximately 7:30 p.m. local time. Players have the option to re-enter as many times as they wish.
