McVeigh Doubles on Last Hand Before Dinner Break
Robert Meglich was on the button and opened to 250,000. Tan Hoang defended his small blind and Jay McVeigh defended his big blind to take action three ways to the streets.
The flop fell 
. Hoang was first to act and led out with a bet of 350,000. McVeigh called to put action onto Meglich, who also called.
The turn came 
and Hoang led again, betting another 600,000. McVeigh thought for a bit and then shoved all in. Meglich folded after about five seconds to put action back on Hoang, who went into the tank. Eventually, he asked for a count which was totaled to be 2.6 million and then he announced a call.
"All right, let's see the cards!" said Tournament Director, Jeremy Smith.

The river came 
and McVeigh secured the elimination as both players were shocked at the flush-over-flush scenario that had just transpired.
Meglich was just as surprised: "I had aces!" he said, proud of his ability to get away from the hand.
