Van Horn Knocks Out Harper; Peck Re-Enters

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Terry Harper
Terry Harper

Terry Harper went all in from early position for 3,400 and action folded around to Bill Van Horn, who announced a call from the cutoff. There were no other takers and hands were tabled.

Terry Harper: {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Bill Van Horn: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}

Harper was ahead with the opportunity to double as the flop fell {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Unfortunately for him, the turn came {j-Diamonds} to leave him with three outs. The river {j-Spades} gave Van Horn trips, earning him the pot and the knockout along the way.

Meanwhile, Austin Peck was seen taking a new seat along with a fresh stack of chips after being eliminated from his previous table.

Zoller Sends Buckley Back To Registration Desk

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Nate Zoller in Day 1a action
Nate Zoller in Day 1a action

A player in middle position raised to 1,200 and was called by Nate Zoller, who was in the hijack. Action folded around to Adrian Buckley, who was down to his last 2,000 and committed them all from the small blind. Both the original raiser and Zoller called.

With future action going to a side pot, the flop came {7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and the middle-position player checked. Zoller bet 4,000 and quickly got a fold, resulting in both him and Buckley tabling their hands.

Adrian Buckley: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Nate Zoller: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Buckley had flopped a pair of sevens but was behind Zoller's pocket tens. The turn and the river ran out clean for Zoller and Buckley was left dry on chips as he got up from his seat and went back to the registration desk to fire again.

Macias Pays Off Marchitti's Boat

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Erik Macias was in early position and opened to 1,200. He received a call from Nicholas Marchitti, who was in middle position on his direct left, before action folded around to both blinds, who also called.

The four saw a flop of {k-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades} and action checked around to Marchitti, who bet 1,200. Everybody called. Action then checked through the turn {k-Diamonds}.

The river fell {5-Hearts} and action again checked to Marchitti. He put in a bet of 3,100 and both blinds folded. Macias then dropped in a T5,000 chip to make the call.

Marchitti tabled {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a full house, kings full of tens, and Macias quickly mucked.

The turn fell {k-Clubs} and Bruce checked again. Levi continued, firing another 5,500 into the middle. Bruce quickly folded and Levi took down the pot.

Bishop Makes Opponent's River His Last

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

A player limped in from under the gun and saw Mansour Alipourfard and Chris Tryba limp in behind him from middle position and the button, respectively. The small blind completed and then Eric Bishop raised his option to 3,500.

The under-the-gun-limper then went all in for a bit over 10,000, getting folds from Alipourfard, Tryba, and the small blind. Bishop then found action back on himself and he called.

All-In Player: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Eric Bishop: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The all-in player was looking poised for a double until the river came on a runout of {4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, giving Bishop a pair of queens, the best hand, and the knockout to go along with it, bringing him over two starting stacks shortly before the second break of the day.
