Glagolev Turns a Monster, Gets Paid

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The turned board showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and the pot contained around 19,000. Sergey Glagolev bet 9,000 and a player raised him up to 18,000.

Glagolev moved all in for 25,000 total and his opponent quickly called, tabling {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for a pair of queens. Glagolev turned over {a-Hearts}{10-Spades} for the nut-straight and his opponent was now drawing to only a split.

The {9-Spades} river did not alter the hand and Glagolev took down the pot for a complete double with his turned straight.

Rocha Stands Up and Sits Back Down

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A player opened for a raise and Alex Rocha moved all in for under 15,000. His opponent called and the two tabled their hands.

Alex Rocha: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Opponent: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The flop came down {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Rocha quickly jumped out of his seat, saying "Good game," as he tapped the table. An {a-Clubs} peeled off on the turn, leaving Rocha in need of a nine to stay and dine.

A fortuitous {9-Hearts} completed the board, smashing Rocha with a boat that was more than enough to take down the pot.

Apter Takes Down a Pot, Shows One

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Sergey Glagolev opened to 2,500 from the button and directly on his left was Brett Apter who elected to shove all in for around 15,500.

"This is the last time I fold ace-queen," said Glagolev as he threw {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} face up into the muck. "You can look at one," Apter said with a smile and Glagolev obliged, flipping over an {a-Spades}.

Both players laughed as Apter pulled in a pot before the flop.
