Ruberto Sits Down, Sends One Home

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Tony Ruberto
Tony Ruberto

A player in middle position limped, the hijack player raised to 1,600 and Jeffrey Trudeau called in the cutoff. Tony Ruberto called on the button and the middle position opponent stuck around as well.

The dealer fanned out {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, action checked to Ruberto who bet 3,000 and the player in the hijack check-raised all in for 12,100. Action folded to Ruberto who called and the two tabled their hands.

Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Tony Ruberto: {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The {k-Clubs} and {3-Diamonds} river did not change the lead as Ruberto took down the pot with his two pair, eliminating an opponent shortly after entering the tournament.

Salazar Pushes His Way into a Pot

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

The flop read {6-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Eric Salazar checked, one player in the cutoff bet around 1,300 and another player on the button raised to 5,800.

Salazar check-raised more than enough to put both of his opponents all in as he shoved in a stack for around 50,000.

The cutoff instantly folded but the button player took their time, ultimately they folded in the end and Salazar slammed over {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for two pair, pulling in the pot.

Prociak Continues to Climb

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante
David Prociak
David Prociak

David Prociak opened to 1,300 from middle position and found two callers to the {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop. Action checked around to a player in the hijack who bet 2,600 and Prociak check-called.

The {4-Hearts} peeled off on the turn and Prociak check-called a bet of 3,000 to see the {10-Spades} river card.

Both players checked the river and the hijack player showed {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for two pair. Prociak tabled {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for a higher two pair and more than enough to take down the pot.

Caputo Lands a Complete Double

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

A player opened in the middle position to 1,000 and Brandon Caputo three-bet to 3,200 in the hijack. The initial raiser called and the dealer fanned out {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} on the flop.

Action checked to Caputo, he bet 2,200 and his opponent called to see the {5-Diamonds} turn card. Action again checked to Caputo who bet 5,000 and his opponent check-raised to 13,000.

Caputo called and the {6-Diamonds} completed the board. The middle position player moved all in and Caputo snap-called for his remaining 27,000.

The player in middle position tabled {5-}{4-} for two pair but it was not good as Caputo then showed his {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, giving him a rivered flush and the pot for a complete double up.
