Foley Looks for a Fold, Naumann Fails to Produce One

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The turned board showed {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and there was around 190,000 in the pot. Michael Newman moved all in for 130,000 and Jacob Naumann hit the tank. In the end, Naumann threw in a chip to call, leaving himself just 80,000 back and the two tabled their hands.

Foley stood up instantly and looked of frustration as he tabled {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a pair of nines. Naumann turned over {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for a pair of aces and the current best hand.

The {8-Spades} completed the board, cementing the pot for Naumann who eliminated Foley from the tournament just shy of the money.

Boas Doubles with King-High

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The turned board showed {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Wendy Lu fired 25,000 into a pot around 55,000. Toby Boas raised to 66,000 and Lu threw in the chips to call, but accidentally put in too much and was forced to raise to 107,000.

Boas thought for a moment and then shoved all in for 191,000. Lu hit the tank, ultimately she called and the two tabled their hands.

Boas looked defeated as he tabled {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for king-high but to his surprise was ahead as Lu turned over {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a flush draw and some straight outs.

The {10-Diamonds} river was not one of the outs that she needed and Boas scooped the pot with his king-high for a complete double.
