Curtis Finds Herofold in Big Pot

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Rory Curtis
Rory Curtis

With a large amount of 600,000 already in the middle, the flop of {10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} lay before Rui Da Costa Dias in the under the gun position and Rory Curtis in the cutoff.

Da Costa Dias had an all-in triangle in front of him for a bet of around 900,000. Curtis was deep in the tank, but eventually folded his {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} face-up.

Da Costa Dias granted Curtis some peace of mind when he tabled the {a-}{a-} to show Curtis made a tough, but correct laydown.

Glaser Snap Calls Wynne

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Benny Glaser
Benny Glaser

There were around 350,000 chips in the middle on a board of {7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Benny Glaser was in the small blind and checked to Jamie Wynne in the hijack. Wynne put out a bet of 125,000 and Glaser matched that amount.

The river fell the {8-Hearts} and again Glaser checked. Wynne took a while before he put out four T-100,000 chips for a bet. Glaser could not call faster and immediately got the news that he made the right decision from his opponent.

Glaser tabled the {9-Spades}{8-Spades} for two pair, while Wynne quickly flashed his {q-}{10-Hearts} for the stone-cold bluff. Glaser now plays more than four million chips on the road to the final table.

Benny Glaser
Benny Glaser

Benny Glaser raised from early position and Darren Harbinson reraised to 255,000. Glaser called and action went to the flop.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and both players checked. The turn came the {2-Clubs} and Glaser led for 300,000 chips. Harbinson made the call.

the river was the {5-Spades} and Glaser pushed in 1,500,000, which put Harbinson all in. Harbinson thought for a long time, rubbing his face in anguish as he decided whether to call for his tournament life. Eventually, he made the fold.

Rory Curtis
Rory Curtis

{8-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts} was already on the table when the action was caught, as well as 575,000 chips. Carl Shaw had bet 180,000 before Rory Curtis moved all-in for 1,355,000 total.

Shaw shrugged and called quickly with the covering stack and both players' holdings were revealed.

Rory Curtis: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Carl Shaw: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Shaw was outkicked by one pip, and he remained so on the {4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} runout. Curtis doubled up to almost the same stack as Shaw now has.

Kevin Swayne: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Zenkovs Hurls Chips in Elimination.

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Panagiotis Mavritsakis
Panagiotis Mavritsakis

The completed board of {j-Hearts}{4-Spades}{j-Clubs}{a-Spades}{5-Spades} was already dealt when the action was caught. There were 1,400,000 chips in the pot and big blind Panagiotis Mavritsakis went all-in from the big blind, covering Alekandrs Zenkovs' stack.

Aleksandrs was on the button and deep in the tank. Eventually, he made the call that would end his tournament life.

Mavritsakis showed {j-Spades}{9-Spades} for a flush, and Zenkovs mucked his cards angrily to the other side of the table. He threw the last of his chips to his opponent before he collected his €6,950 payout.

At the request of the table, Zenkovs' {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} was showed long after he had walked away.

Murphy Eliminates Chung and Devlin

Level 28 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Tim Chung
Tim Chung

Timothy Chung had just successfully shoved and doubled up but was still sitting on a short stack. The following hand he shoved again and was called by Thomas Murphy. Barry Devlin then moved all in and Murphy snap called. Three players flipped their cards for a huge all in.

Timothy Chung: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Barry Devlin: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Thomas Murphy: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

Murphy had the pocket aces and had to fade tens and sixes, although Chung was so short that his real concern was keeping clear of the tens.

The board ran out {j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and Murphy's pocket aces held to give him the pot and bring his stack up to close to 4 million chips.

Docherty Doubles as Field Reaches Final Four Tables

Level 28 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
David Docherty
David Docherty

Michel Molenaar opened from under the gun to 120,000. David Docherty, who started Day 2 as chip leader, was on the button and moved in for his last 585,000. Molenaar asked for an exact count, thought for a bit, and made the call, putting Docherty at risk.

David Docherty: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Michel Molenaar: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}

The {6-Clubs} window card seemed to spell disaster for Docherty, but the flop completed with the {5-Clubs} and {10-Clubs}, solidifying his lead. ''I'll take a chop'', Molenaar said, but not chop came with the {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} runout.

Docherty did not get a chance to stack his newly acquired chips, as the floor swept in to break the table as the final four tables had been reached.
