Micallef Takes Early Pot
Level 1
: Blinds 100/100, 0 ante
Karl Lamont opened to 300 on the button. Matthew Micallef called in the small blind and Marius Zidonis defended the big blind.
Both blinds checked the 2♦9♣5♠ flop to Lamont who bet 600. Both blinds called. The 7♠ turn was checked around before Micallef fired a bet of 1,400. Zidonis called and Lamont folded. Micallef tabled J♣9♦ which proved best as Zidonis mucked his hand.
