The final day of the €1,150 Luxon Mystery Bounty at the 2025 Irish Open, sponsored by PokerStars and Paddy Power Poker, began with just eight players returning to the halls of the Royal Dublin Society, from a total field of 1,222 entries. However, after an explosive start of the final table, only three players remained about 80 minutes after Day 4 had kicked off.

Nils Pudel, Nikolaos Angelou, and Fabian Rolli battled for hours, with multiple big pots, all-ins, and double-ups. Eventually, the stacks evened out, and with the blinds getting higher and higher, the three regulars struck a deal, dividing the lion's share of the €595,725 prize pool.

Pudel had the shortest stack and received €67,510, but won the subsequent flip for the title and the trophy, making him the official winner of the tournament. Rolli finished last in the flip but took home the largest sum of €73,480, while Angelou became the runner-up in both the flip and the payouts, receiving €71,090.

Final Table Action

Pudel and Rolli started the day third in chips with the exact same count, while Angelou had brought a massive chiplead to the table. Pudel provided the first bust-out of the day, eliminating the short-stacked Maksim Petrov shortly after the cards had gone in the air, while Angelou steadily increased his chiplead over the rest of the table during the first hour of play.

However, the dynamics soon shifted drastically when Angelou put Rolli all-in preflop for 35 big blinds. Rolli called off with ace-king and bested the jack-ten of Angelou, shifting the chip lead to Rolli. Rolli then went on an absolute tear, eliminating Florian Duta, Tobias Peters, and Yannick Jobin in the span of 30 minutes. In the meantime, Angelou had taken out the last Irishman standing Patrick Eagers, leaving Pudel as the shortest stack three-handed.

At his lowest point, Pudel had a stack of seven big blinds, seemingly setting up a deep-stacked heads-up battle between Angelou and Rolli. Subverting expectations, however, Pudel doubled up three times in a row. He captured the chiplead and at one point had two-thirds of the chips in play, but the chips kept shifting around.

After four more all-ins doubled up both Rolli and Angelou twice, the stacks ended up relatively even. A deal was immediately proposed, and the three players were happy to split the remaining cash prizes according to ICM. The trio agreed to flip for the trophy, and Pudel was declared the victor after his ace-jack remained the best hand.
