Kyle Scott opened from under the gun to 3,500. Marc Sen called in middle position as did Emmett Mullin in the hijack. Stephen Kavanagh then moved all in from the big blind for 16,400.
Scott then raised over the top to 45,000. Sen and Mullin folded.

Phillip Kuechenhofen opened from the button to 3,500. Richard Frey and Silviu-Teodor Tanase called in the small and big blinds.
Both blinds checked the 5♦Q♠2♠ flop to Kuechenhofen who bet 5,000. Frey then check-raised to 17,000. Tanase folded before Kuechenhofen announced all in. Frey snap-called as the covering stack.

Kuechenhofen couldn't hit his open ended draw across the 7♦ turn and K♣ and he was eliminated.

Patrick Clarke opened to 2,400 from the cutoff. Bryan Fequet-Robitaille defended the big blind.
The 5♠J♥4♦ flop was checked around and Fequet-Robitaille led for 2,500 on the 5♥ turn. Clarke called. The 5♦ was checked by both players. Clarke showed A♦9♦ and Fequet-Robitaille mucked.
