Samuel Ju had committed his final few blinds in the big blind, while Mengshi Tian in middle position and Adrian Cazacu in the cutoff had built a side pot of 36,500.
The flop fell J♥7♣2♦. Tian quickly check-folded to a bet of 20,000 from Cazacu, creating a showdown between Ju and Cazacu.

Jorge Artiga-Pacheco and Mengshi Tian were looking at a flop of 9♠9♣2♥. Artiga-Pacheco checked out of the big blind before Tian fired a bet of 15,000 from the cutoff.
Artiga-Pacheco raised to 32,000, which Tian clicked back to 60,000. Artiga-Pacheco called, after which both players checked the 6♥ turn.
Artiga-Pacheco then placed a tiny bet of 15,000 on the 3♥ river, which was enough to let Tian lay his cards down.

"No, I think I will win this one," Sterner replied as the K♦ turn indeed left Metaal drawing dead. Metaal paid Sterner as soon as the 5♣ river had completed the board, doubling the Swede up to 11 big blinds.
Yannick Schumacher and Christopher Nguyen were heads-up on the 5♦Q♣A♦3♠ turn. Schumacher checked to Nguyen, who bet 32,000.
Schumacher then went deep into the tank before putting his stack of 85,000 at risk, quickly being called by Nguyen.

Schumacher needed a flush or straight to beat the two pair of Nguyen, but neither came on the 8♠ river and he was consequently eliminated.
Steve O'Dwyer got in his stack of 78,500 from the big blind against chipleader Mengshi Tian, who sat in the hijack.

Tian paired up on the A♣5♦3♣ flop, and O'Dwyer's jacks could not catch up on the 6♥Q♥ runout as Tian rivered two pair.
O'Dwyer gave the table a friendly pat before turning his attention to Daniel Smiljkovic, who was seated at the same table.
O'Dwyer was not happy with Smiljkovic being allowed to be seated past the deadline of the start of Level 11, implying he registered too late on purpose.
"I'll make sure the whole world will know the shit you're pulling," O'Dwyer stated.
Smiljkovic just sat with a grin on his face, eventually telling O'Dwyer, "I think you should retire. It might be better," as O'Dwyer left the tournament area.
Govert Metaal raised to 8,000 from early position, being called by Paul Hofer on the button and Zdenek Zizka in the big blind. The action then checked to Hofer on the Q♥4♥J♣ flop, prompting him to bet 15,000.
Zizka called before Metaal got out of the way, leading to the 9♥ turn. Zizka check-called another bet, this time of 26,000, before he led out for 37,000 on the 7♣ river.
Hofer spent some time in the tank but eventually let his hand go as he surrendered the chips to Zizka.

Juha Helppi checked the 6♣7♥J♥A♦ turn from the big blind to Jordan Glazer on the button, who fired 26,000 into the pot of 35,000. Helppi put in a call to the J♣ river, where he checked again.
Glazer cut out a bet of 60,000 and placed it in the middle, with Helppi calling after some thought. Glazer flipped up J♦10♣ for trop jacks, and Helppi tossed his cards in the muck one by one, forfeiting the pot.
Jamie Dwan opened to 6,000 in the cutoff. Adi Rajkovic called on the button before Juho Suutari jammed in his 42,000 from the small blind.
Dwan rejammed for 86,000, forcing Rajkovic out of the pot and heading to showdown.
