Antonios Onoufriou opened from the button to 300. Lorenzo Bruno called in the small blind before Paul Murphy raised to 1,300. Onoufriou folded and Bruno called.

He checked the 5♥3♠3♦ flop to Murphy who bet 1,400. Bruno then check-raised to 2,800. Murphy called. Bruno then check-called a bet of 4,500 on the Q♣ turn before leading for 15,000 on the 9♦ river. Murphy called.

Bruno had made a full house with 9♣9♥ and Murphy mucked. Murphy bust a few hands later to become the first elimination of the day.

Merillon Sylvain opened to 700 from under the gun. Kristian Bimpa called in middle position as did Trevor Reardon on the button. Yinchuan Liu and Ryan Stiner called in the small and big blind respectively.

The 8♥A♠5♣ flop was checked around to Reardon who bet 1,500. Liu called, Stiner folded, Sylvain called and so did Bimpa. The remaining players checked again to Reardon on the J♥ turn who then fired out a bet of 3,500. Only Bimpa called.

Bimpa then check-folded to a bet of 6,900 on the 10♠ river, leaving Reardon with the pot. Sylvain had a fairly short stack and was eliminated a few hands later.

On the 3♥ turn, Morgan bet 5,000 before De Mello moved all in for 14,000. Morgan called.

Kevin van Veen opened to 1,300 from the hijack. John Duffy called on the button, as did Andrei Mjagkov from the small blind and Christoforos Chrysochoidis in the big blind.

Both blinds checked the 3♠6♦8♣ flop before Van Veen bet 3,000. Duffy then raised on the button to 10,000. The blinds folded and Van Veen moved all in for around 35,000. Duffy called and had Van Veen covered.

Murphy and Rymar checked again on the 3♠ river. Rymar had K♥Q♥ and Murphy had 9♥5♥ for a straight.

Despite this, Murphy was eliminated from the tournament a few hands later.
