Big blind Osman Mustanoglu had squeezed all in preflop, with Ian Simpson in the cutoff and Umberto Ruggeri in the small blind calling him.

The A♠A♦2♥ flop fell with around 3,500,000 in the middle, to which Ruggeri added 300,000. Simpson called to the 4♥ turn, where he quickly folded when Ruggeri continued for 420,000.

In a pot of 1,100,000, Gabriel Rymar checked from the small blind to Panteleimon Pontos in the big blind. Pontos fired a bet of 620,000 on the completed board of 4♠2♦J♦5♥A♦, which Rymar raised to 1,900,000.

After a few minutes in the tank, Pontos shoved in a call. Rymar tabled 8♥8♦ for one pair. Pontos showed 3♥3♦ for a straight, and was consequently awarded the sizable pot.
