James Catches Gil Speeding
Level 16
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Xavier James opened to 12,000 in early position before calling a three-bet of 36,000 from Victor Gil in the small blind.
Both players checked on the 9♣6♥7♥ flop and the 10♣ turn.
Gil opted to pick his betting lead back up on the 4♣ river, putting 25,000 into the middle. James almost beat him into the pot, and when Gil showed K♣Q♠, James flipped over A♠10♠ for the winner.
