Gjuzi Jams Into Lyall's Set

Level 13 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Three-way to the K97 flop, Dean Lyall checked under the gun to Rosemary Mullan in the hijack. She bet 12,500 into the pot of 25,000, after which Jonathan Gjuzi moved all in for 40,500 on the button.

Lyall rejammed, covering Mullan's stack of 220,000, and the latter decided to lay her cards down.

Jonathan Gjuzi: KQ All in
Dean Lyall: 77

Lyall's set had Gjuzi drawing dead after the 4 turn, and the 9 river upgraded Lyall to a full house to end the hand in style.

All In the Order of the Day

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

When the action folded to Peter Astley, he moved all in for roughly 50,000. Nobody at the table wanted to tangle, seeing him pull the blinds in unopposed.

The very next shuffle, Iani Tulica put his big stack to use, raising to 10,000. When the action folded to Frederico Hitner, he opted to move all in for 78,000. The action returned to Tulica, who, after a bit of mental arithmetic, opted to fold.

Mixed Game Specialist Sweetman Sent Out

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Benjamin Sweetman raised to 8,000 in late position, and Terry Farrelly called in the hijack. Peter Johnston then three-bet jammed for 55,000 in the small blind, and Sweetman snap-called with the same stack.

Farrelly pondered a call, but eventually convinced himself not to gamble and folded.

Benjamin Sweetman: 1010 All in
Peter Johnston: AQ All in

Johnston flopped a pair on 3QK to take the lead over Sweetman's tens. The K turn and 6 river were no help to Sweetman, spelling the end of his Day 1d.

Sweetman has cashed in four mixed game tournament this Irish Open, winning the 2-7 triple draw as a highlight, but will have to enter Day 1e if he wants to prove his prowess in hold 'em.

Jacks Final Hand for Grodek

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Stanislaw Grodek
Stanislaw Grodek

Stanislaw Grodek got his stack of 115,000 in preflop from late position against Antoine Vranken in early position, and was the player at risk.

Stanislaw Grodek: JxJx All in
Antoine Vranken: AA

Nothing changed on the 510Q8K runout. Vranken's aces held to scoop the pot and send Grodek to the rail.
