The record-breaking field of 5,003 entries in the 2026 Irish Open Main Event generated a prize pool of €4,852,910.

The top 735 players will receive a payout, with a minimum cash of €1,800.

All eyes will be on the first-place prize, though, as the eventual champion is set to walk away with €517,100 alongside the coveted Irish Open Main Event trophy.

When both players in the blinds checked on the 9♠A♣K♥ flop, Lamy continued for 14,000. The small blind folded, but Berge opted to check-raise, sliding 40,000 into the middle. Lamy took some time to consider his options before returning in kind, moving all in, covering Berge's remaining stack of 110,000.

With a pained look on his face, Berge elected to return his cards to the dealer, surrendering his chips in the middle.
