Ensan Gets Away Cheap From Cracked Aces

Three-handed on a flop of J46, Anton Johansson bet 5,100 from the button and Hossein Ensan called under the gun, as did Yusuf Kumtepe in the hijack.

The turn came the 10 and action checked around to Johansson again, who this time checked back. All three players again checked through the 3 river.

Ensan turned over AA87, but Kumtepe showed AJ93 for two pair as he took down the pot.

Heads-up on a flop of 294, Mark Berente bet 8,000 from the hijack and Omar Eljach, who won the WSOP Europe Main Event in this room last year, called in middle position.

The turn came the 2 and Berente bet another 15,000. Eljach then came back with a raise to 40,000 and Berente burned a time bank before calling.

Eljach tossed out another 50,000 on the Q and Berente quickly called. Eljach turned over A754, but Berente had 9986 for a full house to win the massive pot and leave Eljach short stacked.

Action then checked around to Jorgensen who bet 4,000. Only Degermenci called as they went heads-up to the 5 turn. Degermenci checked again and Jorgensen then fired out 15,000.

Degermenci quickly folded as Jorgensen, who won this event last year, took down the pot.

With around 5,000 in the pot heading to a flop of Q54, Lars Brodin bet 3,100 from the small blind and was called by both Victor Ionut Dota under the gun and button Zemir Zuko.

All three players checked the J turn before Brodin led out for another 5,100 on the 2 river. Dota called, while Zuko got out of the way.

Brodin turned over 10976, but Dota had KKJ4 for two pair to win the pot.

Scozzari's cards were mucked, but he asked to retrieve them and snapped a photo of his A432. He was left with just 10,000 and was eliminated a few hands later.
