Another For Karakitukov as Lovric Makes a Frustrated Fold
Level 22
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Filip Lovric raised to 150,000 in the cutoff with A♠J♥10♠8♦ and Veselin Karakitukov called holding 10♥9♥9♦8♥ in the big blind.
Both players checked the 2♠5♠9♣ flop before Karakitukov led out for 250,000 on the Q♦ turn with a set of nines.
Lovric called with the nut flush draw as the A♣ fell on the river. Karakitukov then fired out 575,000 and Lovric shook his head and muttered to himself before laying down his hand.
