Derkowski Off to a Good Start
Level 12
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Thiago Silva De Morgado had re-entered and opened to 10,000 on his new table. Grzegorz Derkowski was the only one to call when he defended the big blind.
The 10♠9♠3♠ flop was checked by both and the same also applied on the K♥ turn. Derkowski bet 8,000 on the 10♣ river and Silva De Morgado eventually called but mucked when he was shown the Q♥J♣10♥7♥ for a king-high straight.
