Krzysztof Budka had out his hopes on a suited rundown with his short stack but the J♦J♠8♦3♣ of Heiko Hinkelmann remained ahead on a board of A♥6♥2♣A♠6♦.
One table over, Yevhen Mevsha got it in with the A♠K♣10♦3♠ and he was up against Jakob Madsen, who held the A♦K♠7♠4♦. Madsen was freerolling after the K♦J♦J♥ flop and got there with the 9♣ turn and 7♦ river.
On a board of Q♥9♠7♦10♣Q♣, Giorgio Donzelli bet 28,000 and Mats Nylander gave it some consideration before splashing in four T-25,000 chips.
Donzelli snap-called all-in and Nylander instantly gasped an "oops" before exposing his J♠10♥7♣5♥. Donzelli's Q♦10♠8♥3♦ was the effective nuts and that left Nylander short.
Ryan Oliver may be freezing with his shirt in the poker arena and already inquired about a hoodie, but didn't want to run to his hotel room at King's Resort to not miss any hand. That decision paid off for now as he raked in another pot.
On a board of Q♦Q♣4♥4♦7♦, the A♥10♦7♥4♣ of Oliver beat his opponent's A♠Q♠J♦10♠ and he raked in another pot.
Quan Zhou raised and Massimiliano Zanasi called before Jakub Koleckar three-bet the pot, picking up calls from both big stacks.
The Q♣10♥6♠ flop got all of the chips into the middle with Koleckar and Zhou at risk.
Jakub Koleckar: A♣A♠K♣J♥
Quan Zhou: 9♠8♦7♠5♦
Massimiliano Zanasi: Q♠Q♥8♠2♥
The 5♥ turn and 3♠ river runout kept Zanasi in the lead and he shot out of the chair to fist-pump celebrate. His 438,000 covered Zhou to ensure a double knockout and the Italian jumped to nearly seven figures in level nine.
Joining the action on the Q♦5♥4♦ flop, Dario Alioto bet 6,000. Harry Casagrande raised it up to 26,000 on the button before Alioto went into the tank. He then repotted to 96,500 and Casagrande reluctantly folded.
Piero Alioto bet the A♦K♣3♦2♠J♥ river for20,500 only to then fold to the shove of Matthew Macioce.
The same action repeated one table over when Marek Blasko bet 5,000 on a 9♠8♦8♥5♥J♥ river. Fahredin Mustafov piled his chips in and grinned "come on, I just busted close to the bubble in the €10,000 Event".
Andre Hoeveken limped in and so did Alexi Skoulos from one seat over on the button. Mikkel Plum then three-bet the pot to 12,500 in the small blind. As Hoeveken eyeballed his stack, Plum mentioned he had around 55,000, which saw Hoeveken fold and Skoulos call.
Plum bet the 10♣4♣4♠ flop for 10,000 to pick up a call and jammed the 3♣ turn. Skoulos snap-called with the Q♠10♠10♣8♠ and Plum's A♣Q♣10♦6♣ was drawing dead already as a J♥ river completed the board.
Romain Nattaf and Oswin Ziegelbecker checked the J♦10♥5♦8♥ turn and the K♥ river completed the board. Ziegelbecker bet 10,000 from under the gun and Nattaf instantly folded, exposing the A♦J♣4♦ only.
Nattaf continued to slide but knocked out Han Kuo shortly after to earn back some chips.
Romain Nattaf called a bet of 15,500 by Samuel Fuller on the K♥10♦4♠5♣ turn and then checked the J♦ river. Fuller pushed forward two T-25,000 chips for a large bet and Nattaf was visibly upset.
"Did you really have ace-queen?" he sighed and even exposed three of his four cards, the A♦K♦10♥. The dealer was about to muck them but Nattaf insisted he had not folded yet, only did so verbally a few seconds later.
Fuller offered to reveal his cards and pushed them towards Nattaf, who glanced at them. "Only king-queen? Oh wait, you have a straight," he said without revealing the cards to the rest of the table.
Heiko Hinkelmann also won a pot, though, his came in a showdown. Three ways to the 10♣8♦5♣A♦Q♠ river, Dmitrij Fadeev checked in the small blind and Hinkelmann bet 7,500 in the big blind. Vasil Medarov called on the button and Fadeev folded.
The K♦J♦6♥2♥ of Hinkelmann were the nuts and he added more chips to a growing tower.
