Roman Cieslik Eliminated in 17th Place (€8,123)

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Roman Cieslik
Roman Cieslik

In a previous hand, Adolf Buettner earned some value on the J623A river when Tim Van Loo check-called out of the small blind for 125,000. Buettner showed the JJ43 for a set and won the pot.

Soon after, Roman Cieslik was all-in once more and Buettner isolated on the 7642 turn to bring the hand to heads-up showdown on the two-table redraw bubble.

Roman Cieslik: AAJ3
Adolf Buettner: 7654

Cieslik loudly proclaimed his outs and somehow included the three in there. That one came with the 3 river but it actually only improved Buettner from two pair to a straight. Cieslik's short stack ninja ride ended in 17th place for €8,123 and the final 16 contenders are now bagging up for the night.

The flop came 3K6 and Eldabach hit the case king to make top set. The board ran out 85 and Derkowski was eliminated in 18th place.

"Just the nuts every hand," Sebastian Langrock said about Eldabach's run over the table.

Jean Michel Kleemann: KKQ2
Sebastian Langrock: AQ98

The J410 flop gave Langrock straight and flush draws. "That's too many," he said, and he hit the Q on the turn.

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Tomas Novotny
Tomas Novotny

Ryan Oliver raised to 75,000 on the button and was called by Dorel Eldabach in the small blind. Tomas Novotny, in the big blind, then moved all in for around 400,000.

"Sick squeeze spot," Oliver said before he mucked. Eldabach, though, called to put Novotny at risk.

Tomas Novotny: AKJ9
Dorel Eldabach: AQ32

The 510A flop gave both players top pair, but Eldabach improved to a flush on the K turn.

The river came the 2 and Novotny was eliminated in 23rd place.

After the hand, Oliver admitted he would've flopped a set. "You would've won all my chips," he told Eldabach.

"This guy has big talent," Sebastian Langrock said about Eldabach.

Lautaro Guerra

Grzegorz Derkowski raised it up to 70,000 and Lautaro Guerra three-bet the pot to 270,000 from one seat over in the small blind. Guerra had fewer than that behind and Derkowski eventually settled on a shove for Guerra to call.

Lautaro Guerra: AQ108
Grzegorz Derkowski: 7766

The 998 flop was a sweat for the Spaniard as Derkowski picked up straight outs. One of those came with the 10 turn and the 7 river failed to boat up Guerra, sending the first Big Wrap Main Event champion to the rail in 24th place for €5,812.

Krause On the Rail; Novotny Doubles

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Tomas Novotny
Tomas Novotny

Andreas Krause had hung around with a short stack for a while but eventually saw his hopes fade. In a duel of short stacks, he could not beat the pocket kings of Yurii Shevchuk on a board of QQ4108 and headed to the payout desk.

One table over, Tomas Novotny three-bet jammed his last 140,000 and Ryan Oliver called with the words "I hope you don't have aces. I am ahead of everything but aces."

Novotny did have the aces, though, and revealed his AAJ6. Oliver's KK93 had some outs all the way on the 922 flop and 7 turn but the 2 river ensured the double up of the Czech player.

"That's a good strategy to just wait for aces," Oliver joked.

"Yeah, it has been working well so far ... every three orbits," Novotny grinned back.

There are only 25 players remaining and they will redraw once the next casualty is confirmed.
